The weather may not have realised this yet but here at the Mayflower Museum and Tourist Information Centre, we are feeling Spring / Summer ready.
This year so far, apart from being a Devon Tourism award Gold Winner! We have been part of the launch of our new Heritage Pass, seeing the partnership of The Elizabethan House, Smeaton's Tower and our Mayflower Museum. We ran the Easter Trail 'Barbican Bunny Bums' which was a very popular hit with families. We were extremely lucky to receive a visit from people of the Wampanoag Nation last week, who had a look around our exhibition and some of our staff attended their excellent performances at the Theatre Royal.
This week we have decorated our shop with flags and bunting, ready for the Coronation weekend, in anticipation of the live screening on The Parade due to start around 11am (6th - 7th May)! After this, we look forward to our ever popular Pirates Weekend (20th -21st May), we are very excited!
